Cottage inside

Here we are again with some photos of the inside. The kitchen provides lots of space. In our current house our kitchen is often the center of family life. We will be able to sit there for hours and discuss things with friends. There is a small wood burner, which should provide cosy warmth in the winter. There is a door leading to the garden (as in all the rooms downstairs), which will prove to be handy when we decide to have morning coffee outside.

Perhaps because of its size, there is sense of stuffy air in the house. We also thank the gods that the previous owners did not install these awful plastic windows, which perhaps insulate the house quite well, but also keep all the air stuck inside, which totally puts me off.

On the left there is a quiet room, which we will dedicate for meditation, reading and listening to music. It is located remotely from the bedrooms so I hope I will be able to listen to more heavy music again without disturbing anybody else.

You will also sleep here when you visit us, guys .

Finally, the large living room provides more space than we probably need, with a wood burner again. Apperently, in the winter it gives enough warmth to keep this room comfortable. And yes, the wall is not straight.

Take care. Posted by Picasa
